Magazine Spread
This is a magazine spread inspired by celebrity top 10 lists. This is my list of the “10 things I can’t live without”.
Type Specimen
Type specimen poster of Avenir. The design was inspired by a coffee shop menu. I chose to do this because restaurant menus advertise the foods that are available at the establishment. Just like a type specimen but less technical and more capitalist.
GIF Animation
These are animations made from images. The project was animate a still image. I did that but added a science fiction element to it. Science fiction and old imagery blended well together for this project.
Designed a prototype for an app that is meant to connect to the user’s brain via USB. Then they would be able to upload knowledge into their brains. The project required me to choose 10 random topics off of Wikipedia and design an app around those topics. This was one of my favorite projects due to me having almost full creative freedom.

Custom Typeface
Designed my own typeface called “shards”. Inspired from hard to read metalcore fonts. I envision this typeface to be used among the rebellious and angsty folk.
Hiking Trail Poster
Poster of the Backbone Trail in Southern California. I incorporated the landscape along with the visual marking of the trail in this composition. The goal was to make a poster that would advertise the trail it represented. Thus, getting people interested in hiking that trail.
Archive Booklet
This is a book made up of a collection of trashcans found around the University of Tennessee Knoxville campus. For extra immersion it is bound with a trash bag tie. The goal of the project was to create an archive. I choose to archive trashcans. An object that we typically don’t pay much attention to.
